What is Anidle?

Anidle is a daily browser deduction game created for anime fans. Inspired by traditional word puzzle formats, the game challenges players to determine a single mystery anime title each day through iterative, comparative feedback.

How It Works

Every 24 hours at midnight local time, an anime is algorithmically selected from a curated pool of notable releases. Players receive up to six guesses to identify the target title. With every attempt, comparative markers provide clues:

• Release Year: Shows whether the mystery title aired earlier or later than the guessed title.
• MyAnimeList Rank: Shows whether the target is ranked higher or lower numerically in global popularity and rating lists.
• Genres: Highlights shared canonical genres between the guessed anime and the secret answer.

Data Attribution & Fair Use

Anidle is a non-commercial educational and trivia project. Show metadata, including promotional artwork, air dates, ranking data, and genre classifications, are referenced for identification, commentary, and transformative trivia purposes under fair use guidelines. All trademarks, copyrights, and intellectual property belong to their respective creators, publishers, and animation studios.
